My very best friends from college came down to disney for just over 48 hours, and we had to answer a quick question – Can you do all four disney parks in two days?
I mean, the answer is obviously yes. Because when it’s your first park visit, and I’m your friend, I want to show you EVERYTHING. Well, maybe except for Toy Story Land because it is WAY too crowded.
Also, I’ll definitely personalize the entire trip and make sure you see your favorite characters and fall in love with all things Disney and magic. Because that’s the kind of friend I am. You’re welcome.
Anyway, four parks in two days? Yes! Let’s get started!
I think it’s super easy to hit up Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios together for a first disney day, so that’s what we did!
I work at Animal Kingdom and it’s tied for Magic Kingdom as my favorite park, so I absolutely LOVED taking my best friends to some of my favorite rides. Avatar: Flight of Passage is arguably one of the best rides, ever. And Expedition Everest is SO FUN and I’ll always love it.
And of course, there’s the Safari! I just love riding the Safari. Animal Kingdom is home to so many different kinds of animals, and you can see so many of them on the Safari.
We were lucky because even though it was mid morning, one of the Lions was even walking around! And there’s been baby giraffes all summer so I love catching a glimpse of them. Giraffes are already the cutest and baby giraffes??? MY FAVORITE.
Now, on to Hollywood Studios! There’s basically only one reason I decided we needed to visit Hollywood Studios – Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Now, you might know this small secret that I’ve never actually watched Star Wars. But it has a rebellion plot and cool looking uniforms and i had a cast preview so YES, I was excited to visit.
Our second day was a lot more chill because we had packed in SO MUCH the first day. I knew we needed to at least stop by EPCOT and that we shouldn’t push ourselves toooo much at Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is already SO CROWDED and if you push yourself too much it becomes a nightmare. Disney parks nightmares are a thing. And they’re terrible.
Anyway, I had some goals for Magic Kingdom.
✨ Take pictures in front of the castle. ✨ Maybe catch a picture with Merida. ✨ Eat some Dole Whip. always a goal, tbh. ✨ And ride Thunder Mountain. ✨ Oh, and cry during Happily Ever After.
And guess what? WE DID ALL MY GOALS. Also, yes, I probably made these goals after we finished with our day and I was like, LOOK AT ALL THE THINGS WE DID. highly recommend making goals after you’re all done just so you can say you did it all.
We were able to pack SO MUCH into our two days, it can be hard to really go over the highlights. But here’s a few:
Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge. All I’ve really got to say is, if you can, get a reservation. This place is amazing, the drinks are SUPER good, and the music is incredibly fun.
Primetime Cafe in Hollywood Studios. This restaurant is so fun and the food was delicious. All of us loved everything we ordered and the wait staff are so funny. Also, don’t put your elbows on the table or they’ll yell at you!
Meeting Merida. Okay, so this was a very personal highlight, but chatting with Merida was one of the best character interactions I’ve EVER had.
Spending time with my best friends – I was so, so incredibly happy Mark and Karen could come visit me here in Florida. Our mini-vacation was very packed but we had a fantastic time. 10/10 would do it all over again.
There were so many other cool things we got to do – piloting the Millenium Falcon on the new Smuggler’s Run ride, arguing with Stormtroopers, meeting Olaf and trying Mickey beignets at Port Orleans.
But I’ve already shared SO MANY pictures and a picture is supposed to be worth a 1000 words so no telling how many words long this post technically is right now.
Are you a Star Wars nerd? Would you rather pilot the Millenium Falcon or eat at Oga’s Cantina?
Have you visited the Disney Parks and if so, do you have a favorite park or ride? Have you crammed all the disney parks into one or two days?
