Not Much Reading & a whole lot of Disney / May 2019 Wrap Up & June Plans

Is it okay that I only read one or two books this month??? yes, cause sometimes you need a hiatus. And other days you’re moving, graduating from college, and starting a new job, and there’s just no way to sit down and read.

gahhhh, do i know how to write a wrap up when i feel like I haven’t done anything??? no, i don’t know how. here’s a small attempt.

Here’s what did happen in May! Lots of life stuff. Lots and Lots.

Graduation and Traveling

So, yes, I officially graduated college in May! Very exciting. And utterly exhausting. Graduation day is far too long and it was very hot in those robes and I was VERY happy to just be DONE with it all.

Receiving diploma graduation

This is a picture of me on the big giant screen thing at graduation, so it’s kind of fuzzy. Great proof of being done with school. 🙌🏻

Oh, and an actual professional pic of me leaving graduation. (i hated this picture at first cause I look like a mess, but i was a mess on grad day. A complete professional mess who needed 25 hours of sleep)

i still haven’t written thank you notes post grad and I feel terrible, uggghhh. Big June goal to get those notes sent out.

After graduation, I spent a week traveling all around Georgia and Florida, which was GREAT fun!

Look at this pretty building. It’s also the hotel where some rich guys designed the US banking system. Cool, Cool.

Lots of Vlogs!

Yes, I’ve been making a TON of vlogs. because I picked up an actual camera (YAAAAAYYYY!) and I’ve had so much fun. Blogging is harder work?? At least right now? We’ll see how vlogging goes long term.

But so far, filming at the parks has been super fun. And editing is a bit of work but not too much. I’m really hoping to balance my creative work better in June, especially since I’m more settled into the work schedule here at Disney.

Okay, yes, I’ve linked two vlogs, feel free to watch them. and subscribe 😊

I know we’re three days into this new month and I’ve barely worked out these new plans. However, minus the weekend craziness, I have great hopes for June. Plans are coming together and it’s going to be fun.

I’d like to catch up on my Goodreads challenge this month and read a bunch of diverse books for Pride, so here’s some of my TBR! Here’s just a few books on my TBR for this month.

I’m also HORRIBLY behind on ARCs so I need to read as many of those as possible to catch up.

And I’m working out a possible readathon for the last week of June, so stay tuned! I’ll probably announce that on my youtube channel. (have you subscribed??? 😊)

Well, thanks for putting up with this messy blog post that was supposed to get published YESTERDAY but guess who got distracted making hamburgers. 10/10 recommend making hamburgers for lunch, btw.

Also, logging off here to go film a youtube may wrap up, just love doing all this creative work on the same day, haha!

lets chat

How was your May? Any books you recommend I add to my June TBR? Are you planing any exciting summer events?

I wanted to tell you that I have Again, But Better checked out from the library right now! I also finished With the Fire on High a few days ago-it was good. A book you might want to add to your TBR is Bad Blood :))

So many congrats on graduating, Liz!! I love seeing all your Disney stories, I’m so glad you’re having a great time <3 I'm currently reading We Set the Dark on Fire, and I've barely just begun it but it's very intriguing! I hope you enjoy it (and Wilder Girls! I'm so excited to read that one)
