Is this the first time in forever I’ve had to actually write a wrap up the very same day that I need to publish it? yes. Welcome to my crazy spring senior year life. Ha! #almostdone
There’s a lot of mixed feelings happening about March. On one hand, there was break and it was absolutely lovely. But, I also didn’t get much reading done? Or writing??? So that was hard. But I am VERY happy with what did happen.
Carry On – this was SO FUNNY! And just the perfect read after not after having much time to read for several days.
In the Shadow of Statues – So proud of finally reading this book before it was due back at the library! Key to reading non-fiction books? Pick super short books.
The Priory of the Orange Tree – Wow, what a read. This is epic fantasy and can be slow, but overall, it’s a great book. Not really YA??? Maybe??? i don’t know
You Asked for Perfect – Super short and sweet!
Famous in Small Town – Oh, I was so happy to finally read this! Emma Mills is always just so fun. I didn’t majorly care for the plot twist, though I did like most fo the characters a ton.
The Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle – Finally finished this book! Not my favorite Rick Riordan, I enjoyed Magnus Chase A LOT more.
The Belles – Oh, this was such a fantastic mix of royal french vibes and The Hunger Games. I can’t wait to pick up the next book!
This Savage Song – You know how long I’ve been wanting to read this? And I loved it! Really looking forward to the sequel
I took a trip! It was so fun! I drove 21 hours all over florida and visited the beach, disney springs, and a cool old fort, so basically, the perfect spring vacation.
ALSO, I’m planning on posting a travel diary? Because I am moving to work at Disney, and I definitely want to write about that experience. So might as well practice some non-bookish posts now, right? 😂
I’m drafting my first travel diary post, and hopefully it will go up sometime in April. Maybe.
I seriously didn’t watch anything after the first week of March. Not even over spring break! But I did watch some new things for a couple hours over the first weekend in March. And that was it.
Based on the classic book, Vanity Fair, which I haven’t read, but I was really enjoying this series! I’ve only seen about three episodes and I do want to finish it. Also, I should probably read Vanity Fair. Maybe.
I finally started Brooklyn 99 and LOVING IT! I finished season one while I was spring cleaning and packing up winter clothes, and it was HILARIOUS. Definitely want to keep watching.
Also, Jordan Fisher was cast as John Ambrose in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel, and SQUEEEEAAAALLLLLLL, he’s going to be so fantastic!!!!!! Anyone else excited????!!!!
Fadwa shares books with East and South East Rep you can read for YARC challenge!
Olivia chats about Five Reasons everyone should try (and love) Harry Potter!
Elise shared why she’s not too terribly excited for the final season of Game of Thrones, and her points are SO ON POINT!
Julianna shared some Things Book Bloggers SHOULDN’T Feel Bad about and I 100000% agree with this list.
I didn’t post as much as I normally like to post this month, but that’s ok! I’d rather not post than post stuff I’m not super proud of, you know.
/// Popular Posts ///
I was really surprised by how popular my non-fiction post recs was??? Definitely made me happy 🙌🏻
Also, I’m going to throw in my youtube channel into this part of my monthly wrap up. Because I can. I’m posting quite a bit more on youtube, especially this month. And I’m SUPER proud of the videos I worked on this month.
I answered some questions about moving to Orlando. And chatted all about my fav Leigh Bardugo books and how to read them. Also, I’m unhauling some books so check out that video to find out how to get a free book. 🙂
So, yeah, that was March. Also, if you wondering if I danced to Sucker by the Jonas Brother’s all month long, you’re totally right.
How was your March? Have you had a Spring Break? Ever traveled to Florida? Anyone else excited for the Jonas Brother’s new single?
