Totally Ready for Reading at the Beach / My March TBR

Now, before I list all the books I kind of plan on reading this month, I should say I am TERRIBLE at following through with my TBR plans. Because i am definitely a mood reader. #sorrynotsorry

Also, spring break is in less than 15 days, and I’m heading to FLORIDA. which means, beach reads time. Will I actually read at the beach? Who knows. I love the ocean but can’t just HANG out there all the time because I’m a redhead. The Sun and I don’t mix too well.

Shadow of the Fox – This book has been sitting on my shelf since October and I’m just determined to read it! I actually read the prologue was 78% intrigued and just needed to keep reading.

The Belles – I just started this book and I’m already in love! It’s so lush and french and captivating! I can’t wait to keep reading this book. Boo on school and homework for interrupting my reading time.

The Upside of the Unrequited – How have I not read this book yet? I think it looks like the PERFECT beach read so I think I’ll take it with me over spring break.

When Dimple Me Rishi – Another book that has been sitting on my shelf for forever! Since spring is IN THE AIR it’s time for some spring looking covers and this book is it! Also, the author is Indian sofits my YARC reading challenge!

American Street – I picked up this book last summer, yes that NINE MONTHS ago and I just really want to read it! Just look at the cover! It’s so pretty and intriguing!

King of Fools – I have been blessed with an ARC and I’m SO HAPPY! I just barely started reading it and I’ll definitely finish it in March!

We Set the Dark on Fire – This book was just released! And just look at the cover, doesn’t it look incredible? I’m so intrigued.

Empress of All Seasons – I stared reading this six weeks ago and ust haven’t gotten back to it. Also, it’s due back at the library and I need to finish it.

Twilight? – how did this book end up on my TBR. Because i created a twitter poll and I’m probably revieiwng this book or my youtube channel. You’re welcome.

(and of course, I made a gif from my latest video)

That’s my March TBR, so far. And if you want to hear me talk more about my March TBR, be sure to check out my youtube channel.

Now, in case you’re wondering. I don’t have a booktube channel. I have a Lifestyle Creative channel™️. And I just made that name up because my youtube is for me to share what i love about being creative and life. So that includes reading, writing, moving to disney (!!!), figuring out budgeting, fun video editing projects, and probably some occasional thoughts on politics.

Anyway, I do share my monthly TBR piles, so if you like watching that sort of thing, check out my channel! My march reading plans video will be up by the end of March 5th.

And if you’d like a video on pretty much anything about my life, let me know. If I don’t make a video about it, I’ll probably write a blog post instead.

lets chat

What are you planning on reading in March? Are you a planned kind of reader or a mood reader? Are you wanting to read any of the same books as me?

Do you have a youtube channel – let me know and I’ll subscribe!

I think I’m part planned reader, part mood reader-I plan what books I’m going to put on hold at the library, but then it depends which one I read. For March, books I have right now are Bowlaway, The Fifth Season, On the Come Up, The Warmth of Other Suns, and The Sacred Enneagram! I doubt I will be getting to all of those though. As for Youtube channels, I don’t have one, but what advice would you give to someone starting one?

That’s kind of my reading plan, too! I want to read some more Enneagram materials, maybe I should put that on my non-fiction reading list! And I’m looking forward to On the Come Up, I have it on hold on the library.

Oh, youtube and advice. Not sure I’m THAT qualified, but I would say, know why you enjoy what you watch on youtube. Styles, topics, etc. And be confident in the equipment you do own! If you have a smart phone, know the limits it has on filming and audio. Editing can seem daunting, but fiddle around and watch tutorials and it is totally possible to learn on your own!

Ahh yes, Enneagram! The first Enneagram book I read was The Road Back to You, which I think is a better first book to read. Oh my goodness, I went on a road trip this past week and finished On the Come Up in I think a single day. It was really good-maybe better than THUG, in my opinion?
And thank you, that’s very good to hear. :))

Beach days sound fun! I’m loving the current dark, cool, and rainy weather at my place, but I can’t help missing the sun 🙂 I’ve been hearing great things about Shadow of the Fox, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

I’m part-planned, part-mood. I’m currently reading Bonfire by Krysten Ritter, and I’m itching to finish it!
